Peer-review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Advances in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (ACS&AI) are expected to align with the journal's objectives, scope, and author guidelines. It is anticipated that the submissions will present high-quality scientific research, be original, and highly relevant to the areas of computer science and artificial intelligence. Papers are expected to be original and free from plagiarism. It is highly recommended that the authors perform similarity checks before submitting their work. The editorial office applies plagiarism recognition software to all submissions, and then the review process begins; thus, the authors' claims are debited under similarity checks.
The research articles to be published in ACS&AI are subjected to double-blind peer review by two reviewers, where the author(s) and the reviewer(s) identities are hidden from each other. The manuscript is assessed by independent, esteemed reviewers, who provide valuable, constructive, and academic feedback to help improve the quality, clarity, and contribution of the work.
Editors will be the final decision-makers regarding the acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript, as they will rely on the reviewers’ recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript. The Editor-in-Chief has the final say on the publication of accepted articles, taking into account the acceptance date, thematic relevance, and the need for a balanced geographical representation of authors.
