Manuscript Template

It is necessary for authors to format their manuscripts using the official ACS&AI manuscript template prior to submission. The template, along with detailed formatting instructions, can be downloaded from the journal's website.

Structure of the Manuscript

  1. Title: The title has to be informative, simple, and short. It is better to avoid the use of abbreviations and mathematical symbols unless absolutely necessary.
  2. Author Information: Full names, department affiliations, institutions, city, and country of the authors are required. Academic titles are not to be included. One of the authors must be the corresponding author and must provide an active email address.
  3. Abstract and Keywords: The abstract must not be more than 200 words and must provide a concise account of the research purpose, methodology, main findings, and conclusions. There will be no reference list allowed. After the abstract, up to five keywords will be given for indexing purposes.
  4. Introduction: Clearly articulate the research goals and provide some relevant background information without a thorough literature review.
  5. Methodology: The research design, materials, datasets, models, and analytical methods should be described in detail so that others can reproduce the study.
  6. Results and Discussion: The results should be presented in a clear and orderly manner. The discussion should go beyond merely restating the results to interpreting the findings and commenting on their significance.
  7. Conclusion: The key findings and the study's contributions should be pointed out, and possible directions for future research should be indicated.
  8. Acknowledgements (Optional): The researchers may recognize funding agencies, research institutions, or even individuals who assisted in the research process.
  9. Author Contributions: A description of the CRediT taxonomy must be provided, along with indicating the specific role of each writer.
  10. Funding: The authorship has to list the sources of funding or declare: “This research was conducted without financial support from outside sources.” The names of the funding agencies and the numbers of the grants have to be correct.
  11. Conflicts of Interest: The author is obliged to reveal any possible conflicts of interest or to state that there are none.
  12.  References: Manuscripts should include only those works that are cited. It is anticipated that papers will cite at least 20-30 recent and relevant sources. All citations and references are to be in APA style.
