Publication Policies

1. Publishing Ethics

The Samangan Academic and Research Journal upholds the highest standards of publishing ethics and integrity. All authors, editors, and reviewers are expected to adhere to ethical guidelines in conducting, reporting, and evaluating research. The journal follows international standards, including those set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any form of research misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, or unethical behavior, is strictly prohibited. Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and ensure that all research involving human or animal subjects complies with ethical regulations.

2. Plagiarism Policy

The journal enforces a plagiarism tolerance threshold of 25%. Manuscripts submitted must be the original works of the authors and should not exceed this similarity index as determined by plagiarism detection software. Proper citation and referencing of previously published works are mandatory. Manuscripts exceeding the tolerance limit will be rejected or returned for revision. If plagiarism is detected at any stage, including after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and take appropriate action, including banning authors from future submissions.

3. Copyright and License

Upon acceptance, authors retain the copyright of their work but grant the Samangan Academic and Research Journal the right to publish and distribute the article. The journal publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license permits others to share and adapt the work freely, provided proper attribution is given and any derivative works are distributed under the same license. Authors are responsible for securing permission for any third-party copyrighted materials in their manuscripts.

4. Open Access Policy

The Samangan Academic and Research Journal provides immediate open access to all published articles, ensuring the broadest possible dissemination of research findings. This open-access model allows readers worldwide to access, download, and share articles freely without subscription or payment barriers, promoting transparency, visibility, and academic collaboration.

5. Article Withdrawal Policy

In exceptional cases, articles may be withdrawn or retracted after publication due to ethical breaches, significant errors, or legal issues. Withdrawal requests must be submitted by the authors with valid justification and are subject to editorial review. Retractions or corrections will be indicated in the journal to maintain the integrity of the academic record. The journal reserves the right to withdraw articles without authors’ consent if serious ethical violations or legal concerns arise.
