Peer-review Process
The Samangan Academic and Research Journal employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of all submitted manuscripts. Upon initial submission, each manuscript undergoes a preliminary editorial screening to assess its suitability, adherence to the journal’s scope, and compliance with ethical standards.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers with relevant expertise. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s methodology, originality, significance, clarity, and adherence to academic standards. The review process is conducted under a double-blind system, whereby both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to maintain impartiality.
Based on the reviewers’ feedback, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions: acceptance, acceptance with minor or major revisions, or rejection. Authors are provided with detailed reviewer comments and are expected to revise their manuscript accordingly within a specified timeframe.
Once revisions are submitted, the manuscript may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or additional experts. Final acceptance is contingent upon satisfactory resolution of all reviewer concerns.
The journal strives to complete the peer review process efficiently, typically within a specified timeline, while maintaining high standards of academic rigor.
